A Backpacker’s Journal

Hey,

I am Gineesh Madapparambath (aka Gini Gangadharan) and welcome to my blog. I am an IT professional born and raised in Kerala (India) and currently living in Singapore. Since I moved to Malaysia and then to Singapore, I started getting queries like “What are the places to visit in Malaysia“, “Which are the best Shopping Malls in Kuala Lumpur“, “Do you know about any Taxi Services in Malaysia?”….etc. So, I started compiling a list of items related to the above and shared it via emails or chats upon request. But the queries gradually increased over time and I thought it would be best to store all this information in a place which can be easily accessed by the public.

So, I started a blog on these topics and added a few articles. This was apart from the few other blogs I had on different subjects. I learnt that a lot readers found my articles to be helpful. So, I created a formal travel blog for this and rovervibes.com was born! I started adding articles on stuff which are useful for both expats and Malaysians here. Recently, we started focusing on expat-related items like How to process Long Term Visit Pass (LTSVP) in Malaysia, or How to get Malaysia e-Visa etc; and the feedback from the readers was good.

Ready, set, go…

This isn’t a regular travel blog, rather, a place where I post information on subjects related to Malaysia and Singapore (and occasionally, other places I visit) which can be helpful to those who visit and live in Malaysia

Enjoy the site!

With best regard

Gineesh Madapparambath
